After making Oscars history last Thursday as the most-nominated film of all time, Sinners has fared well with today’s announcement of the BAFTA nominations. Ryan Coogler’s film earns an impressive 13 nods—but is beaten by its closest awards season competitor, One Battle After Another, which secured 14.

Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein and Yorgos Lanthimos’ Bugonia were also warmly received by BAFTA voters, while Amy Madigan’s memorable performance in Weapons was snubbed in the Supporting Actress category.
