Something Very Bad is Going to Happen

When Rachel (Camila Morrone) drives up with Nicky (Adam DiMarco) to get married at his wintry family home, she is struck by an inescapable sense of dread. As the big day draws near, the couple are plunged into a hazy, claustrophobic nightmare in this Netflix series that fuses the psychological horror, paranoid thriller, and found footage subgenres with Lynchian flair.

A desperate woman (Zazie Beetz) accepts a job as a live-in housekeeper at a luxurious NYC high-rise. The catch? The building appears to be infested with a Satanic cult. Myha’la (Industry) and Patricia Arquette (Severance) also star in the Kill Bill-esque action horror film.
Forbidden Fruits

Putting a witchy spin on cult classics like Heathers and Jawbreaker, this horror comedy from producer Diablo Cody (Jennifer’s Body) follows a fashionable coven (Lili Reinhart, Victoria Pedretti, Alexandra Shipp) whose bond is tested by the arrival of a new member (Lola Tung).
Pretty Lethal

After their bus breaks down, five bickering ballerinas (Iris Apatow, Lana Condor, Millicent Simmonds, Avantika, Maddie Ziegler) are forced to spend a stormy night in a remote Hungarian inn. But when they witness a crime, a horde of gangsters, including an irresistibly evil Uma Thurman, are determined that they never make it to their Budapest showcase—leading to a bloody, brutal action horror extravaganza.
The Serpent’s Skin

A witchy sapphic horror film in the mould of a 90s TV pilot, The Serpent’s Skin is as indebted to the early films of Gregg Araki as it is to Buffy. The latest from trans horror auteur Alice Maio Mackay sees a young woman (Alexandra McVicker) develop dangerous supernatural abilities—powers that she shares with her mysterious love interest (Avalon Fast).
The Mortuary Assistant

Now streaming on Shudder, this video game adaptation follows a recent graduate who takes a job at River Fields Mortuary. When she starts on the night shift, her standard routine of embalming bodies is disrupted by sinister forces.
