Sarah Paulson will return as Cordelia Goode in Season 13 of American Horror Story, which has now begun filming. The veteran AHS actress reprises her celebrated Coven role for the first time since the crossover season, Apocalypse, in 2018.

Creator Ryan Murphy has revealed that American Horror Story Season 13 will start airing on FX this September, while also telling fans that the set of the Robichaux Academy, the New Orleans boarding school for witches from AHS: Coven, has been entirely rebuilt.

Ryan Murphy shared a first-look photo of Paulson as Cordelia—writing “The Supreme Rises” in the caption—two days after posting Jessica Lange dressed as who appears to be her Season 1 character, Constance Langdon, suggesting that more teaser images may follow. With photos of Lange and Paulson posted, the show’s most frequent male lead, Evan Peters, could be next.

If Lange is indeed playing Constance from the show’s inaugural season, retroactively dubbed Murder House, then Season 13 may again see interactions between the family trapped in the Murder House and the Coven witches, a storyline that underpinned Apocalypse.
