IFC and XYZ Films have released the second trailer for horror comedy Over Your Dead Body.

The English-language remake of the 2021 Norwegian genre film The Trip stars Jason Segel and Samara Weaving as a miserable couple who each secretly plan to off the other on a remote cabin getaway. The dysfunctional pair’s murderous plans are then disrupted by a trio of escaped criminals, played by Timothy Olyphant (Alien: Earth), Juliette Lewis (Yellowjackets), and Keith Jardine (Bird Box). 

Filled with laughs and gore galore, heightened by grisly practical effects, the raucous remake from director Jorma Taccone (one-third of comedy collective The Lonely Island of SNL fame) won the Headliner Audience Award at SXSW. The film was shot in Finland beginning in winter 2024, with the Scandinavian woodland standing in for Upstate New York.
