Kristen Stewart will star alongside Wagner Moura in supernatural thriller Spiritual World.

The film reunites her with Moura ahead of their 80s-set romantic vampire thriller Flesh of the Gods, while also seeing her reteam with French filmmaker Olivier Assayas. The pair previously collaborated on the 2014 psychological drama Clouds of Sils Maria, for which she became the first American to win France’s César Award for Best Supporting Actress, and the 2016 supernatural psychological thriller Personal Shopper, which earned Assayas the Best Director Award at Cannes.

Described as similar to previous Assayas films Irma Vep and Personal Shopper, Spiritual World follows Ada (Kristen Stewart), a clairvoyant young woman plagued by mysterious premonitions. Plot details are under wraps beyond that synopsis, but ARTE France Cinéma, which is backing the film, have revealed that filming will take place from February to April 2027 in France and Germany.

Stewart and Moura will be joined in Spiritual World by Riley Keough (Daisy Jones & The Six), Vicky Krieps (Monster), Niels Schneider (The Unknown), and Barbara Sukowa (Servant).

The pair wrapped last June on Flesh of the Gods, the forthcoming Gothic horror film from director Panos Cosmatos (Mandy) and writer Andrew Kevin Walker (Se7en, Sleepy Hollow).
